Our Services:
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Basic personal care such as assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, skin and nail care, shaving, toileting, and eating/feed
- Take vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and blood pressure
- Measure and record height and weight
- Turn and reposition bedridden Clients to prevent skin breakdown
- Assist with incontinence, including bed pan use, emptying urinary drainage/catheter bags, changing protective undergarments
- Observe, record, and report the Client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance
- Keep a record of care given
- Assist Clients with safe ambulation, including proper use of adaptive equipment
- Assist Clients with safe transfers from, for example, bed to chair to toilet, shower, or tub, and vice versa; transfer bedridden Clients as necessary
- Perform range of motion exercises
- Assist Clients with exercises as instructed by a physical therapist
- Assist Clients with donning and doffing medical support equipment such as braces and prosthesis
- Maintain cleanliness of Client equipment used in provision of care such as oxygen tanks and regulators and/or tubing, walkers, wheelchairs, braces
- Medication reminders/Assist Clients with the self-administration of medications that have been pre-poured by a nurse or family member as ordered by a medical professional
- Implement universal precautions to ensure infection control
- Perform other non-medical tasks as assigned by and under the discretion of the Supervisory RN
Companion & Sitting Services
- Provide non-medical supervision to ensure a Client’s safety and well-being
- Give emotional support and peace-of-mind to Clients and family members
- Provide social engagement and cognitive stimulation to reduce isolation
Homemaker Services
- Assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): housecleaning, laundry, change bed linens, meal preparation in accordance with dietary guidelines, escort/transportation to appointments, errands, shopping, and outings.
Respite Services
- Provide temporary assistance and support to primary caregivers
Business Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; after hours on-call services are provided 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
